Following the success of last year’s inaugural Brainchild Ball, on 22 July 2017, we held our second Brainchild Ball – Issho Ni in the Astral Ballroom, Crown Perth. The Adventurers are very pleased to announce Issho Ni raised more than $200,000 to make Dr Raelene Endersby our Brainchild Fellow.

The 2017 Brainchild Ball, aptly called Issho Ni –  means “together” in Japanese. Issho Ni brought the community together in a show of solidarity and support for children suffering from brain cancer.

Issho Ni had a distinctly Japanese flavour. Guests indulged in a range of culinary delights from the Land of the Rising Sun, and were entertained by Taiko On Drummers, Singer Jenelle Russo, and dancers from Vogue Performers. Our popular Diamond Champagne Bar made its reappearance – thanks to the generosity of Mazzucchelli’s and Moet.

One lucky guest took home a Forever Mark Diamond.  This year, supported by Gage Roads Brewing Co and Mazzucchelli’s we also introduced the Sports Bar.

Many thanks to our wonderful and charismatic MC, Mr Tim McMillan, auctioneer Tiny Holly and our 2017 Brainchild Conor Colgan.

An incredible night, we cannot wait to do it all again next year! Stay tuned as we will be announcing the date and theme soon.
