Phil Britten is an International Speaker, Author and Entrepreneur with a love of family and adventure.
As a survivor of the Bali bombings in 2002, Phil knows what it takes to overcome adversity: he not only lost seven of his closest friends, but received burns to 60% of his body.
Phil is a renowned Adventurer who lives and breathes adventure and charity work. In his time as an Adventurer, Phil has trekked the Kokoda trail, climbed Gran Paradiso (the highest peak in the Italian Alps) and summited Mount Kilimanjaro (one of the so-called Seven Summits). He’s also completed several survival treks in the remote East Kimberleys. To date, Phil has raised over $100,000 for research into childhood brain cancer.
In his business life, Phil focuses on creating successful enterprises, and helping others to do the same. In 2013, Phil won a prestigious ‘40under40’ business award, and was named ‘Most Inspiring Man of the Year’ by Momentum Forum. More recently, Phil was awarded ‘Australian Speaker of the Year 2015/16’ by the Professional Speakers Academy.
Phil is a passionate and very active Ambassador of The Adventurers, with three young children of his own.
